20th Year Celebration on April 27th.

Balvihar is planning a Gala event to celebrate the 20th Anniversary on April 27th,2013.
Most of our class students are participating in the cultural event. Our Class coordinator is Trupthi and if you need information regarding the celebration, please check with us.
Balvihar is accepting donations to raise funds to build our own place,please donate generously for the good cause.
We appreciate all your support.

On Dec.6th class, we finished with the Ramayana unit.
On Dec. 16th class, we introduced the state Sikkim to prepare for the Republic day presentation.
All the students are assigned a topic to research over the winter break.

Sikkim project

All students are assigned a topic to research on the state Sikkim.
Work with you partner or alone and bring a  Color printout with couple of sentences and relevant picture.

Republic day celebration- Sikkim

For  this year Republic day celebration, our class is representing the state "Sikkim".
We need parents volunteer to do this presentation. Last year our class got the best presentation recognition.
Lets maintain that status this year too.
Please help us in the preparation. Encourage the children to read and collect more information about this state.

 Diya project for Diwali. Our students worked so hard to make those beautiful Diyas.
Those who didn't donate $10 for the Diya project, please pay us on Nov.4th class.
Donation for CAN drive is also accepted on Nov.4th Balvihar class.
All donations will need to be collected by the class teachers.Suggested donation of 10$ per child or $20 per family. This year in addition to a local charity, part of the proceeds will also go to gifting vision charity in India "(http://www.giftofvision.org/)

Balvihar -2012 Food Can Drive - Collection Dates - October 07 and October 28, 2012

     Please send "only the Food Cans listed for your kid's class"

     or a donation of $5 will be acceptable

Diya project, Can Donation, Quiz on cultural unit, Class Auction.

We are going to have a very busy schedule on Sunday oct.28th.
We will be having  a Short quiz on all the topics we covered in the last 5 classes.
Do Class auction.
Start with the Ramayan unit.
Diya Project.
Kids are picked up from classes/ cafeteria after the Diya project.
WE NEED MORE HELP FROM PARENTS.
We have class next Sunday too (consecutive classes)
